- Corrected a number of minor bugs involving weapon arcs, art, UI, speech and text events.
- Corrected a couple of annoying issues with the Progression Wars scenario
(note: issues may remain in old saved games.)
- Improved defence manager screen and fixed related bugs with defender arrival positions in combat.
- Spinal mount tech can now be unlocked by either Particle Beam or Heavy Drivers.
- Fixed negative savings aid bug.
- Fixed all known issues where Morrigi fleet speed was not being updated.

NOTE:
This updater will work for both Gamersgate customers who have previously updated from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2 , as well as full product dvd owners who have version 1.6.1. Because of this, the updater essentially contains two separate updaters, which makes it bigger than normal, but not outrageously big. 1.6.3 includes a lot of optimizations to ship models that we think will fix a lot of the random and irregular game crashes, so, that's where a great deal of the size is coming from.
